Guided by Faith,
Rooted in Service

Rituraj Aggarwal
Founder & President, Aghor Sewa Sansthan

“When no one else comes forward, we do. Every last rite performed with dignity, every meal shared, is a small offering back to humanity.”

For over 15 years, Rituraj Aggarwal has led Aghor Sewa Sansthan’s mission to serve those society often overlooks — carrying the poor and unclaimed to their final rest with dignity, raising his voice for justice on behalf of the voiceless, and showing up wherever compassion is needed most, from flooded streets to forgotten settlements. His work has been recognised across local newspapers and media for decades of selfless humanitarian service.

Who We Are

Aghor Sewa Sansthan

Aghor Sewa Sansthan is a government-registered humanitarian organisation built on a simple belief: dignity in death and life is a right, not a privilege. What began as a small act of carrying an unclaimed body to its last rites has grown into a movement across our city and beyond.

From free hearse services in the dead of night to feeding hungry families and standing beside the sick when no one else will, our volunteers work quietly, without expectation — guided only by seva.

From public demonstrations demanding action, to sitting across the table with police and administration on behalf of the powerless, our founder Ritu Raj has consistently used his voice for those who have none.
